FRP storage tank can be found in the chemical industry. It is used in the production of chlor-alkali, fertiliser, wood pulp and paper, metal extraction, refinement, electroplating, brine, vinegar, food processing, and air pollution control equipment, particularly at municipal waste. Fibre strand and/or fabric reinforcements are added to thermosetting fibre reinforced plastic which creates a robust, corrosion-resistant matrix. FRP storage tank provides storage volume, and the other gives the distribution system pressure. Depending on where it is in the system and how it is configured, a certain tank may fulfil one or both tasks. A chemical resin is used to coat the interior of this container.
